Undergraduates are encouraged to join Chrysalis, the undergraduate entomology club. Chrysalis is open to all undergraduates, not just entomology majors.
Members build networks with faculty and graduate students and potential employers. Chrysalis provides opportunities to discuss careers and research with scientists from the Ohio State campus and beyond.
Chrysalis members also participate in service and outreach activities at public events.
Club activities may include field trips to collect insects for research, and to zoos and museums, or movie night, trivia, community service, presentations on graduate research, cooking with insects and more.
The club meets once a month, and meeting times vary each semester.
