INSECT NIGHT Walk
This free, public event is organized by EGSA and Entomology staff, and is held annually at The Ohio State University Wooster Campus.
In 2023, EGSA hosted the Insect Night Walk at the Wooster Science Building for the first time on August 18 from 8-10pm. More than 250 guests experienced the hidden nightlife of insects; witnessing the beauty and diversity of night-flying insects, from glittering fireflies and singing crickets to huge, colorful moths and iridescent beetles.
Guests were invited to pet a bee, dig insect fossils, create unique insect art, learn how insects sense the world, and won prizes!
