UTBZ Visit Request Form

Visit Us! Classrooms, small groups, and families are welcome. Take a self-guided tour Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm. Ample free parking on site. Complete the UTBZ Visit Request Form to set up an in-person tour or outreach event.

Insect Ambassador Volunteer Form

Volunteers play an integral role in our outreach efforts. Dedicated Insect Ambassadors create displays, assist with educational outreach, create web/social media content, photograph and digitize the specimen collection, work in the pollinator gardens and get acquainted with all the Bug Zoo animals. All volunteers must attend an orientation session and complete a background check. If interested complete the volunteer form

The UTBZ has more than 30 different arthropod species, and is maintained by Program Manager Jeni Filbrun and implemented under the direction of Entomology Dept. Chair Jamie Strange and Associate Chair Andy Michel.
