Teresa Popp

Teresa’s dissertation research examined the rapid evolution of ion transporter expression during freshwater invasion by brackish water copepods. The goal of her current research is to understand the evolution of physiological mechanisms involved in copepod osmoregulation during salinity change.  Teresa has a strong research background in the ecological impacts of species invasions and the adaptive responses of organisms to environmental changes.
