She has always had an interest in insects for collections, and she also has a strong passion for research. Breh completed research at an REU for her undergraduate honors thesis on ecosystem services, specifically natural enemies, using sentinel prey techniques. This experience solidified her desire to continue her education and learn more about IPM strategies in agricultural systems. Outside of the lab, Breh enjoys taking care of her many houseplants, playing with her cats, Mumu and Snooki, and crocheting.
