The Department of Entomology (http://entomology.osu.edu) in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (http://cfaes.osu.edu/) of The Ohio State University (OSU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Medical and Veterinary Entomology (50% research; 30% teaching; 20% outreach) to study the biology, ecology, and management of arthropods that vector viruses and other pathogens that cause diseases of humans and/or animals.  The position can be located at either the Columbus or Wooster campus, which each provide state-of-the-art facilities for conducting infectious disease research and excellent opportunities for collaboration with food, veterinary, medical, public health, and animal and plant scientists.
