The Plant Health Management Major is an interdisciplinary major between the OSU departments of Plant Pathology and Entomology. Coursework includes management of diseases, insects, weeds and other pests for those interested careers as plant health practitioners. Internship experiences are integral to the major.
Coursework: entomology (insects and arthropods); plant pathology (plant diseases) plant disease management; biology and plant biology, horticulture, weed science, chemistry, plant physiology, soil science, statistics and more, with ample flexibility so students can pursue areas of interest.
