4-H Youth Build Bee Hotel and Garden Thanks to Department Grant

The Buzz on Bee ‘Hotels’
It’s easy to create a pollinator nest

4-H youth in Lucas County learned about pollinators and bee habitat this summer by planting bee-friendly plants and creating nesting habitat at the Toledo Botanical Garden and the Lucas County fairgrounds. The project was funded in part by a grant from the OSU Department of Entomology, awarded to eight 4-H projects across the state.
