We have continued our tradition of excellence this autumn semester, evidenced by the news articles posted to our website and the emails of gratitude and pride recently sent to our current department members. Additionally, our efforts to grow the department are bearing fruit. We currently have 33 undergraduate Entomology majors and 24 minors enrolled. Our graduate programs are also healthy, with 28 graduate student in Entomology and seven graduate students in the interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences Graduate Program. The Master in Plant Health Management program jointly run with the Department of Plant Pathology currently enrolls 32 students. Finally, please join us in welcoming our two newest faculty members, Dr. Shaohui Wu and Dr. Sam Ward, to our department this fall.
