    Join fellow entomology enthusiasts for a daylong exploration of the world of insects. The One Day Insect University will be held on October 30th from 9:00AM to 4PM at the 4-H Center. Participants will learn about pollinators, insects in the garden and landscape, and the role citizen/community science plays in what we know about insects.

    WOOSTER, Ohio — Come experience the nightlife most never see at Secrest Arboretum’s annual Insect Night, a free event with family activities and a graduate student-led night walk. Among the stars: ghostly moths, burying beetles and (thanks to bioluminescence) coldly glittering fireflies. Plus hopefully only a few blood-sucking mosquitoes. This popular event will be held on Saturday, July 13st from 8 – 10:00PM. It’s free for kids of all ages and their families at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster.

    April 28, 2018 Kottman Hall OSU Columbus Campus The Gardiner Lab studies vacant land as a conservation habitat for arthropods. Participants will learn of our research findings and view the rich fauna found within vacant lots.
